One of my goals for the new year was to start a travel Tuesday section on the blog. The hubs and I love to travel, so I figured it would be fun to recap all of our adventures. We've been to some pretty cool spots in Mexico and in the US that I would highly recommend, so I decided I would share some of our favorite things to do and places to stay in some of the places we've traveled to. I had to start off travel Tuesday with our favorite place-- Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. If anyone hasn't been- we highly recommend!! The place we stayed in Puerto Vallarta was absolutely breathtaking! We stayed at Garza Blanca and we chose the all inclusive option. We booked it a while in advance and got a great deal--I think it was on bookit or orbitz (always check these sites for great all inclusive deals). We also went in October, which was their hurricane season (which is probably how we scored such a good deal). The weather ended up being perfect. It only rained briefly one day the entire time we were there. The resort had so many things to do --we went hiking, tequila tasting, kayak fishing and also experienced some amazing food at the steakhouse that was one of the restaurant options. At the time we went, we also could eat at the sushi restaurant that was part of their sister hotel, Hotel Mousai. This was incredible!! I could go on and on about this vacation because it was hands down the best vacation! Check out the pictures below--pictures don't do this place justice because it was even more beautiful in person :)
