Hey y'all! Hope y'all are having a great week. I wanted to share this cute bag I received c/o Esperos because it's so fabulous and perfect for Fall:) Esperos Soho recently opened their store in Austin and I immediately fell in love with their bags. When I researched more about the company, I found that not only were their bags lovely, but they also support an amazing cause. For every product sold, it helps fund one year of education for women and children in developing countries. Like I've said many times before, I love supporting companies that strive to make a difference in the world. I'm also excited to announce that I will be hosting a happy hour here in Austin on November 8th from 5:30-7:30. Hope y'all can make it- I would love to see y'all there!

Face to Face Spa makeup application

For this months collaboration with Face to Face spa, I decided to get my makeup done. At Face to Face spa, they have an option for members to receive a free 30 minute makeup application, or you can pay $30 for a 30 minute makeup application session if you aren't a member. They will also provide a complimentary color matching session where they will color match your skin to find the perfect shade. The makeup that they use at the spa is Jane Iredale. My makeup consisted of powdered foundation, bronzer, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, lip stain, and hydration spray to set the makeup. I honestly wasn't too crazy about this powder as I prefer to use liquid foundation because I rather a fuller coverage foundation on my face. Over the pressed powder, she put a mineral bronzing powder and a pressed blush. She used a mineral based eye pencil for top eyeliner, and thickening mascara to make my lashes look thicker and longer. For my lip color, I decided on a lip stain/gloss, which I really liked. I'll link the color below. Since my skin is on the dryer side, she completed my makeup with a hydrating spray to set the makeup. The first 2 pictures are right after it was completed (messy hair and workout clothes lol). The last picture was taken after ~1 hour of makeup application. Overall, I would say my favorite parts of the makeup application were the eye colors and lip color. I will definitely be back before an event to get it done again!

I'm so excited to introduce y'all to a cute online boutique called Shop Lemora. They have some amazing clothing! I always love collaborating with companies who give back. At Lemora, every purchase made contributes to micro-loans awarded to women around the world striving to support their families and improve their communities through entrepreneurship. I really liked everything I picked out from here.  I really loved the jumpsuit and maxi dress, but unfortunately they were a tad too big on- but still super cute! Here are pictures below and how I styled each.

I received my 3rd Daily Look Box in the mail the other day and I wanted to share with y'all what I received and what I decided to keep:) The first two tops I received were by the brand Stateside. I decided to return these because I didn't really care for the look or fit of these tops. They sent me a vest to pair with the striped top, but it was way too long on me. The next picture that you will see is a dress by Finders Keepers. The fit of this was super weird (too big on the top and smaller at the bottom), so I didn't love this one either. They sent me a pair of Hudson high waisted jeans, but I always need to size up in Hudson because they run on the smaller side for me. I would have liked these if the size was right. Next, you will see the most beautiful black satin slip dress. I absolutely adored this dress, but it was too big in the top for me and the straps were not adjustable. If this was an extra small, I would have definitely kept it! The last 2 pictures are pictures of the 2 shirts I decided to keep. I LOVED this floral tank. It's a great transitional piece into Fall, and I can layer a cardigan over it when it gets a little colder outside. The other top I decided to keep was this sheer Storee floral button up. It looks so cute paired with a belt, high waisted jeans, and a bralette. I decided to pair it with booties and these jean shorts due to the warmer weather we are having here in Austin. Hope y'all are having a great week and staying safe from all of these hurricanes!

Hey y'all! Happy Thursday! For today's post, I wanted to share about my recent experience with Dermaplaning. Over the last few years, I've been to different estheticians for addressing my skin care needs, and I typically treat myself to a spa facial once a month.  We moved to Austin a year ago and I've experimented with different spots, and I finally found Face to Face Spa in Westlake in Austin. So far at this spa, I've received a few different medi facial treatments and services including microdermabrasion, vitamin C mask treatment, dermaplaning. This was my first time trying out dermaplaning. I've heard how amazing it was, so I had to try it out for myself. I'm going to explain what it is below, and my thoughts on the service after receiving it 2 weeks ago. I've had 3 different estheticians so far, but Kristina has been my personal favorite.

1. What is dermaplaning? It's a method of exfoliation that consist of your esthetician using a small blade to gentle scrap off the top layer of dead skin cells to reveal a brighter complexion.

2. Do I notice any difference with this compared to my regular facial services? I do notice that my face is much smoother, and my "peach fuzz" is completely gone. Everyone was also asking me if my hair would grow back any thicker. So far, so good. I haven't noticed any thick hair growing back, but I will continue to keep y'all updated. The other thing I noticed was my complexion appeared more even, and my makeup goes on smoother.

3. How did I think it felt?  I didn't think it hurt at all; it honestly felt like someone was shaving my face. I had to stay really still to ensure there would be no cuts happening on my face.

3. How long does it take? Speaking from my experience only, it lasted ~30 minutes.

4. Is dermaplaning for everyone? There are certain skin types that aren't recommended for dermaplaning. I'm no expert, so definitely consult with your esthetician to see if this is right for you before you decide to do this.

5. Would I do it again? Absolutely. I will see how the results look after a few more weeks, and keep you updated on what I decide, but I plan to incorporate this into my regular facial service every 6 weeks.

Y'all this jumpsuit is EVERYTHING! It's so fun because it's the perfect piece to transition into Fall. Pair with a cardigan and booties for Fall or wear it now like I did with a layered necklace and embroidered crossbody. This will definitely be on repeat, especially when cheering on those LSU tigers :) I can't find the jumpsuit on the website, but you may want to call the store for availability. The new stuff they get in usually doesn't last long, so get it before it's gone! Hope y'all are having an amazing week.

Hey y'all. I received my second daily look box the other day and I wanted to share what was inside! For those of you who want to know more of the details about this box, you can read my blog post here for all of the details. This month, I received 9 items and of the 9, I kept 2. The first one I kept was this denim shirt- seriously the coziest, comfiest shirt!! I will be photographing the other shirt soon so I didn't want to spoil it just yet. Some of the jeans I received but didn't photograph were: J Brand and  Just Black. These are both cute, but I just couldn't get myself to spend that much money on jeans right now.

You're probably wondering "Is this box worth it?" Well, I'll break it down for you. Out of the 9 items I received, I loved 2, liked 4, hated 3. I ended up keeping the 2 I loved. The styling fee is $40, which goes towards your purchase. I enjoy the excitement of trying on new items, so for me it's worth it because I know I will find at least one thing that I love and that $40 can go towards an item. I will admit I was a little disappointed in this month's box compared to last month because 3 of the items were definitely not my style. What do y'all think?
